Editorial policy

This page explains how the articles, guides and comparison pages on the marketplace are made, and which rules apply to every figure you see.

Who writes

Articles and guides are written by The More Clinics Editorial Team. We use AI tools to help draft and translate some texts. Nothing is published automatically: a member of the team reads and publishes every text, and an AI tool is never named as an author.

When an article is written by a doctor listed on the marketplace, the byline names that doctor instead of the team.

Who reviews

Medical review is done only by doctors who are publicly listed on the marketplace. Not every article has been reviewed yet.

Every article shows when it was last updated. Once a specialist has reviewed it, it also shows who reviewed it and when, with a link to the doctor's profile. An article that has not been reviewed says "Medical review pending".

Sources and figures

When an article relies on studies, guidelines or official data, it names the source. We do not invent figures. Numbers about the marketplace itself, such as listed doctors, published packages and prices, are counted from our database when the page is shown.

How prices are shown

Prices are the packages providers publish themselves, in the provider's own currency, with the date the data was last updated. Different currencies are shown separately and never merged into one range. The final price is the one in the clinic's written quote after the doctor has assessed you.

Ratings and reviews

Star ratings count only reviews from patients who booked through the platform, and appear only once enough of them exist. Ratings from Google or Trustpilot are shown separately and are not part of our score. Nobody types a rating by hand, and providers cannot review themselves.

Corrections and updates

If you find an error, tell us through the contact page. We correct factual errors once we have checked them, and the article's "Updated" date changes with the correction. We revisit an article when the prices, rules or medical guidance it relies on change.

How we earn

The platform is funded by providers' monthly plans; we take no cut of your treatment. You pay the clinic directly for treatment. What a provider pays us never changes what our articles say about a treatment.

Not medical advice

Our content is general information and does not replace an examination. Whether a treatment suits you is decided by the treating doctor after assessing you.
